I took my 300 BLK rifle (brand new straight out of the box) along with my 762-SDN-6 suppressor (also brand new straight out of the box) to the range for a test firing of the pair. Unfortunately, the rifle malfunctioned at least 5 times (bolt/round jam and bolt failed to cycle) while shooting one box of Remington 300 BLK Subsonic ammo.
I paid to ship the rifle back to the AAC designated gunsmith. After inspection, the gunsmith determined that the carrier key needed to be reamed. Quality control at AAC must be asleep. Thank goodness that my life did not depend on this rifle. A brand new rifle should not malfunction period.
Unfortunately, I paid top dollar for a rifle that malfunctioned straight out of the box.
