I have had several tactical 10/22 setups over the years and I currently own a Ruger 10/22 done by Talo that came with this ATI stock standard with it's built in tactical forend, 25 round factory mag and threaded barrel.

I can tell you that this stock is hands down the best. I have an ATI 6 position stock on my AR15 and absolutely love it. Does what it is supposed to do with no surprises and no complaints.

My goal with the Ruger was to create a tactical rifle in 22lr that could fit discreetly into a backpack for a bug-out type situation that would leave my family with protection but not draw undue attention. This ATI stock's side-folding capability was the key that allowed me to do so.

Thus I was able to replace my Marlin Papoose with a rifle that is much more widely supported, has an almost bullet-proof reputation for reliability. The ATI stock unlocks and folds easily and stays open solid while shooting.

It is also a very value-oriented price for such a rugged and welcome addition to the large family of 10/22 accessories. The adjustable cheek rest is great and the three picatinny rails on the forend are done well. With the pistol grip it can shoot in the closed position also so close quarters use is doable.

The only negative is that I'm not wild about the giant side fold release button but it works. Worried it could hit on something and break or catch.
