This is my first AR style rifle, I ordered the rifle online and Hinterland made it easy

Prior to the sale I called and talked to a real live human (Rare in the online world) who insured that the rifle was in stock and answered my other questions. No problems with that process.

The rifle arrived quickly. The only discrepancy from the online description was that the rifle arrived with a single 30 round Armalite magazine that looked slightly used, not the 10 rounder.

The rifle also came with national match peeps & posts and a sling in a hard case. I'm not complaining, especially for the price & the fact that the rifle was available (I tried several local Armalite dealers with NO luck. Armalite itself was out of stock).

So far I've been feeding the rifle green tipped XM855 for rifle break in. No FTF, FTE, or any other failures of any kind (~150 rounds through it to date). From the bench I shoot moa groups easily.

Prone at 50 years I can shoot a 5 shot group that can be covered by a quarter after a little practice. It will probably do better than that with match ammo. This rifle shoots better than I do and is by far the most accurate rifle I've owned.

I've shot friends RRA national match, and a bushmaster match rifle and was looking for something just a bit better. That's why I went for the Armalite and I'm not disappointed.

The trigger is far and away the best AR trigger I've had the opportunity to squeeze. The sites are dead on accurate, a click is firm and positive with 1/4 MOA windage adjustments. The sites are also clearly marked & numbered (Hello RRA!). You can "shoot the corners" repeatably with this rifle.

The Armalite is an excellent, high quality, very accurate AR style rifle. It is a little on the heavy side (8.5 lbs empty with match sling) but that isn't a problem for me.

One reason for choosing this rifle was because I thought I might want to try and service rifle competition at the local gun club. I can already tell it was the perfect choice.
