I ordered mine in late Sept. '13 and took delivery within just over a week. ($450 delivery included.)
I was planning on ordering the all black model but it wasn't in stock and this one was, not a problem, it was only a few dollars more. Within a week I took it to the range, (I had already test fired one from a rental range nearby, they said it had been a reliable and completely trouble free rental)
Both of them performed flawlessly. After cleaning and inspecting it thoroughly, I fired 2 magazines each of Blazer Brass 9mm lugar 124 gr. FMJ and American Eagle 9mm lugar 115 gr. FMJ. At approximately 17 to 20 yards it fired where I pointed it. I shot it from a rest also because I'd read some minus reviews regarding it's accuracy.
It worked just fine from a rest, any accuracy problems I had could not be blamed on the firearm. Shooting freehand, using proper technique, I had repeatable patterns in the 3 to 4 inch range at the aforementioned distance. "A good carpenter doesn't blame his tools."
Mine came with 3 dot sights, I understand there are versions with white outline rear sight, the trigger has about 1/4 inch travel (in single action mode), it engages then light pressure and there's smooth travel up to discharge. Recoil is very manageable, return to target is very quick. Double action mode is a predictably long travel, considerably more pressure, but it was smooth all the way to discharge.
Lefties will appreciate this sidearm, all controls a fully ambidextrous with exception of the magazine release but you can still keep a firm grip on the sidearm while using your middle finger to easily depress the magazine release button, I like it better than another sidearm I have that allowed the button to be changed.
That one is the Beretta M9A1 which brings me to another plus. It fit perfectly in the Beretta's holster, a Bianchi snaplock model 84. It's a retention type, that one is a left-hand model but they sell both. Another plus, the mag loader purchased for the other pistol works perfectly.
The only slightly negative is you can't get that 13th round in there using it. It's almost impossible to squeeze that one in at all, maybe the spring will ease up with age. The mag loader is an UpLULA, made in Israel, it's very robust.
Dis-assembly, cleaning and reassembly are quick and easy. Fit and finish and tolerances are better that expected.
If you're looking for a concealable (I was able to EASILY conceal it under a T-shirt while wearing cargo shorts, and I'm an average framed and height person), high-round capacity 9mm, don't care about brand names, just performance, you will miss out if you don't consider this Argentinian product.
