DPX Storage System Specifications

The patented Duo-Plus Extra Storage System is the most versatile Browning ProSteel safe interior now with Full DPX Door Storage. Browning Medallion Series gun safes include the DPX Storage System, with the pouch and pocket system on the top half of the safe door back panel. Long guns can be stored on the safe door back, and handguns and other small valuables can be stored easily in the pouches and pockets on the top half of the door back.

Optional Axis Shelving

The most versatile safe interior. Ever. A safe is capable of securing more than firearms. Jewelry, documents, cameras, coin collections, other valuables, plus shooting gear can easily fit inside a safe. The trick is maximizing storage capacity to accommodate many different items of varying size.

Browning ProSteel Safes have led the industry for years in terms of safe storage solutions, and for 2011 we take the concept to the highest level yet with our innovative Axis Adjustable Shelving. Unlike shelves in other safes that are either fixed in position or only offer vertical adjustment, Axis shelves can be adjusted both vertically and horizontally to accommodate nearly any size item while working around long guns.

The cantilevered design of the Axis Adjustable Shelving can be placed anywhere left or right along the horizontal axis. Shelving can also be combined to make one long shelf.

A vertical track mounted to the back of the safe interior allows the horizontal rail to be repositioned up or down along the vertical axis.

Ultimate All Shelf Interior

The Ultimate Interior creates complete flexibility in the interior configuration. It can be factory-installed on safes with the DPX Storage System or with the optional Duo-Plus Interior. The Ultimate Interior adds extra shelves so that the entire interior portion of the safe can be used for small items on the shelves. The long gun rack from either the DPX remains on the door, so some long gun storage remains in the Ultimate Interior, even when the interior is all shelves.

DPX Mossy Oak Break Up Camo

Camo lovers will be excited by the new Browning ProSteel Safes Mossy Oak Break-Up camo DPX Storage Systems. With a background of Break-Up and complementary color pouch and strap materials, the Camo DPX is an outdoor lover’s dream, inside the safe. Available only to replace the DPX Storage System used standard on Platinum Plus, Gold, Medallion, Silver Series models. (Not available on Select or Bronze Series).

Mirror Option

Located on the top half of the back wall, the mirror option looks great and brightens the interior of the safe to make objects, especially those on the rear of the shelves, easier to find. Constructed of break-resistant material for durability. The combination gives the safe interior a more spacious feel and makes it easier to find items in the safe. Optional on Medallion and Silver Series safes. Standard on Platinum Plus and Gold Series safes. Factory installed only.

Light Package

This integrated lighting package makes locating objects on shelves or identifying the right firearm convenient and easy. The two included halogen light modules are wired to a door activated switch and illuminate when the door is opened. Factory installation adds a seamless look with no exposed wiring. Optional on Medallion and Silver Series safes. Standard on Platinum Plus and Gold Series safes. Factory installed only.
