Right out of the box it arrives ready to shoot. A thorough pre-fire examination was undertaken, and happily, there were no manufacturing or assembly issues present. Fit and finish is a ten out of ten. This is what you get when you buy quality name brand merchandise. If you want the cheapest rifle out there, this gun is not for you. If you want a quality made firearm that will appreciate in value as time goes on, I would rank this in the top five best deals for name brand AR 15s, and the lowest priced of all five. The only thing cheap about it was the cardboard box that Bushmaster now ships them in. A plastic case would have been nice, but most people have their own case preferences, and I am sure that it helps lower the selling price of the rifle. I'm buying another one just to put away as an investment. Five stars!
