This is the follow-up review on the Century Arm's ARCUS 9mm. I have just returned from the range and the shooting experience was by far the most fun I have ever had with my clothes on.
I fired my sig 226 9mm first to get in a groove and then pulled out the ARCUS. To my delight, the ARCUS matched my sig shot for shot. Ammo brands didn't matter, both weapons fired flawlessly, 100rds out of each.
I used an 12in. circle with an 8in.target area in black with an 1in. red bull. Six targets for each gun.eighty percent were inside the 4in.circle,and forty percent inside the two inch circle.
On three of the targets the red bull was gone. The range was seven yards , and for someone that doesn't shoot often I was a happy man. The ARCUS was stiff in double action but very smooth in single action.
The recoil was a non-factor. The weight of both guns did affect the shooting towards the end.
This pistol gets five stars plus.

I have just purchased an Arcus to complete my three gun ( ring of fire ) for target shooting, and after much research I found this weapon to be the perfect midsize fit.
The weight and balance seem right for less recoil and quick target acquisition. There wasn't a lot of cleaning to be done before I can use it. The mag is a very smooth fit, in and out.
Loading the magazine is a little stiff but it will wear in. I have given the Arcus a three star because I'm not going to fire it for a few days.
I will give an updated review after the range, but if my feeling about this purchase is right on, you will see five star's at my next review. ALPO.
