There are only two major components, the blade and handle. Both are precision fine blanked, which produces parts of superior fit and finish for maximum performance. The ingenious frame lock is part of the handle. It is strong, safe and positive, and snaps crisply into position when the blade is rotated open. The grooved thumb stud and teflon blade bearings make one hand opening and closing smooth and easy.
