This is an excellent air gun. Mine has brought down many pest birds and even a full grown rabbit, with a pellet. I have been using this gun for over 3 years and it still works (almost) perfectly. Like any gun that shoots a circular projectile out of a non rifled barrel (BBs wear out the rifling, it's not a myth!) it isn't "shoot the stem off an apple" accurate, but shot a 3" group back in the day at 35 yards. Now it is down to maybe a 5" group, but it can still hit a crow about half the time at about 25 yards. I have put easily 10,000 BBs through this gun, and, while it is certainly not as good as it was, it still shoots at about 600 FPS and has -never- broken or malfunctioned. This was my first gun, and now I have many firearms, but I still shoot my 901 occasionally. The stock and pump are made out of high quality synthetics and make a joke of the cheap plastic of the 880. It is very well balanced, the Tru-Glo sights are great, and it feels like a good gun ought to. I actually replaced the rear sight on mine with a washer to make my own red dot peep sight, which is pretty cool with the front Tru-Glow sight, another feature many competitors lack. To sum up, this gun is THE choice for a pump airgun, be it your first or umpteenth gun. It is great for shooting cans, targets, pest birds, small game, and anything, really. I couldn't be more happy with it, even after 3 years. If you are looking for a multipurpose airgun, the search stops hear. 6 out of 5.
