A standard A3 receiver combined with a standard lower with a fixed buttstock make this rifle user friendly and effective. The rifle has been a favorite for shooters, hunters, law enforcement and recreational or competitive shooters alike. It is available with an endless number of upgrades and accessories, so the Panther Classic 16 can fit almost any shooter's needs. The 16" barrel has a 1x9 twist and is equipped with an A2 birdcage flash hider. Chamber is 5.56x45mm with a gas-operated rotating bolt; 8620 steel bolt carrier and phosphated steel bolt, both heat-treated and plated per Mil Spec. It is 39 3/8" long. Upper receiver is A3 with a removable carry handle and is forged from 7075-T6 aircraft aluminum alloy, hard-coat anodized per Mil Spec and Teflon-coated black.
