Product Description

Panther LRT SASS has a 416 stainless steel 18" barrel, 6 grooves, right hand 1X10 twist, button rifled with Panther Flash Hider, gas operated rotating bolt, and a 8620 steel bolt carrier. The primary sights are for optics (NOT INCLUDED) the backup are Mangonel front and rear flip-up (INCLUDED). The upper receiver is thick walled, extruded from 6066-T6 aluminum featuring an A3 flattop, dust cover, and shell deflector. The Lower Receiver features Ambi-Selector, JP adjustable trigger, integral trigger guard and aluminum magazine release button. The lower receiver is milled from a solid billet of 6061-T6 aluminum. The stock is a Magpul PRS and the handguards are standard 4-rail free floating and are vented. they include 9 wide rail covers. Also featuring a Panther Tactical Grip and Harris 9-13" swivel series bipod the bipod adapter is made by Fobus. Each rifle comes with 2- 19 rd. magazines, nylon wed sling, and 1- Cleaning Kit.

I have purchased several rifles from another online supplier but only Hinterland was able to obtain the SASS for me. I will now make Hinterland my shooting supplier.

I would also like to thank Brett for his knowledge and actually answering my questions about the SASS rifle and not referring me back to the manufacturer.

Now about the SASS, it is a great piece of work that not only looks good but shoots even better. I have only shot 300 rounds so far but the accuracy is excellent.

The bipod is very well thought out and constructed well. I have just received a Nikon M 308 scope that I will install this weekend and then have some more fun.

Lots of websites advertised this riffle, but Hinterland Outfitters was the only one who could deliver one. It seems to be of high quality,and it just looks plain mean.

I added a Zeiss 3x9-40 Conquest scope. The price was outstanding as was the service. I will do business with Hinterland outfitters again.

I haven't bought this rifle from this website but i have at a local gun store. I have got to say that it out shoots my PTR 91 (out fitted with a Trijicon AccuPoint 1-4x24 Riflescope and with msg stock from hkparts).

It's a great rifle and it's a must for gun lovers and target shooters.

This is an excellent off the shelf rifle! Will shoot just about anything you put through it without hickup. I have a Leupold Mark 4 5.5x20 Illum TMR on it and I could not be more satisfied.

I love this gun it is a tack driver. It is heavy - you wont be shooting it free handed but that's why its got a bi-pod on it. This is a very cool looking gun and it performs just as well. $$$$$ well spent.

To start with, many thanks to Brett for all of his help. Other sites that I have purchased guns off of really couldn't answer many of my questions like what type of contianer it was shipped in, estimated shipment date, etc. I never received that from Hinterland.

My experience with Hinterland is above reproach and is why I will be buying more guns from them. I absolutely love my SASS! I haven't shot it yet but I have no doubts that it will perform better than anticipated.

The bipod not only allows the gun to turned left and right, but it also allows the gun to lean to the left and right as well....truly a versatile bipod and of top quality.

Great gun more than expected..was in between the POF and the DPMS ...very happy I went with the DPMS. Fired 100 rounds of Winchester super X with no problems at all and super accurate...many thanks to Brett of Hinterland for all his help...if anyone has a question about anything just ask and they will help..again thanks for a great product and very helpful staff. a++++
