I've owned this crossbow since Christmas 2009 (A gift), and have been impressed with the quality, and accuracy this bow is capable of. Excalibur's Customer service is second to none as they answer each question with respect no matter how silly the question may seem. I've not had ANY problem with my vortex thus far and the bow is far more accurate than I expected, and I have the split carbon arrow to prove it.

That will teach me to shoot more than one arrow at a spot on my target. one arrow to each spot. last year I scored on three mature does in three days in the field (Friday, Saturday and Monday) until an accidental fall in the field tore up my knee and put me out of commission.

In my opinion, if this kit is in your price range, don't hessitate to choose Excalibur, Truly 'The most accurate hunting Crossbows'!
