Best thing about this Glock - the 10mm - is for an extra 210$ you have three hand guns. Buy a 40 S&W barrel and a 357 Sig barrel and - boom! - you have three nice firing guns with minimal expense. The 10mm mags will work with all three cartridges without fail. Best thing I acquired for this Glock was an extended ported barrel as I hand load above spec, and it can have a lot of recoil toward the top of spec chart. If you are into custom reloading, - hand loading - the only problem with this weapon is finding a recoil spring that is strong enough for the super hot loads. I have been as high in lbs as I could find which for me was 28 lbs, and it wasn't near enough to stop constant FTE 's. Best solution I've found so far is EFK dragon dual spring @ 24lbs called the frame saver. Good luck & enjoy.

I'd like to address several errors and misconceptions about this model. First, the description lists it as double action only, but it's actually striker-fired, as anyone with Glock experience knows. Double/single action refers to the movement of the hammer, and a striker-fired gun has no hammer. Second, there is no physical difference whatsoever between the 10-round and 15-round "versions" of this gun; the only difference is that the 10-round comes with restricted magazines, to comply with some state regulations. The standard capacity of this firearm is 15+1, and you can use a high-capacity magazine with any Glock. Third, the compensator does not cause burns, night blindness, flying debris, or any of the other ridiculous problems that these know-nothing idiots on gun forums love to talk about. The muzzle flash increase is minimal, and the velocity decrease is negligible. The ports can't reduce recoil - that's just physics - but what it does do is make the gun recoil straighter and easier to control. The only legitimate concern about the compensator is that it does make the gun much louder, but you should be using hearing protection anyway. This is possibly the best universal outdoor pistol ever made! No manual external safety to worry about, just 3 internal passive safeties making it impossible to fire the weapon without a direct, deliberate trigger pull. This combines the safe carry of a double-action trigger with the short travel and light, consistent trigger pull off a single-action pistol. In spite of the power of full-house 10mm loads, the compensator makes the recoil very easy to manage and the long-range accuracy is impressive. And, as with any Glock, if you don't have time to clean it by hand, you can always field strip it, run it through the dishwasher, and oil it back up afterwards.

I have never owned a Glock.
I have heard that it is the most popular side are used by Police and Sheriffs. In addition the Federal Government is now converting many of it's covert agencies to Model 22.
Glock is rugged, dependable, smooth trigger pull and a very ergonomic grip.
The Glock 10MM offers massive fire power to satisfy all occasions.
The integrated compensator does an excellent job of reducing the power of the recoil making it possible for a woman to handle it easily.
