The Redhead Target is assembled like the standard Redhead but with a different purpose in mind. This over/under has been designed to crush clay targets, plain and simple!
It comes fitted with a Monte Carlo stock that keeps the gun on your shoulder while keeping your head up to see the clays. Add to that a healthy right-hand palm swell, 30-inch barrels and a stepped rib designed for rising trap targets -- it's the perfect choice for those wanting to own a true target gun at an affordable price.
The 2013 Redhead Target ships with a set of 6 Kicks stainless steel extended choke tubes with two Skeet (.005 constriction), two Light Modified (.015) and two Improved Modified (.025). These chokes were designed by our competition shooter Tom Mack for use on close, mid-range and long-range targets, respectively.

You can't beat the value in this shotgun. It is an incredible value for the quality you receive. It is a great gun to get started with clays. You won't be disappointed in this gun or CZ's incredible customer service.

Just received this shotgun and managed to get to the range today. Managed to shoot 50 rounds before the rains came and forced a withdrawal. My overall impression with this gun is extremely positive!!
I have been using a 45 year old Mossberg 500 with a VR and a Select choke, managing to hit some .. miss some and the Mossberg has NEVER failed. I decided to treat myself and spend a little money... not a LOT of money! I wanted an over/under, researched, and decided on the Redhead Target.
The wood, machining, engraving all impressed me. I also wanted a gun with a little meat on it to reduce the 12 ga. recoil and the 8.2 lbs fit the bill.
Whatever this gun has, it is letting me disintegrate the clays as opposed to those cheapie hits that knocks off a chip or two. That's a nice feeling and impresses my friends. Would I buy another?? Absolutely!! Would I recommend it to a friend? Absolutely!!
Now if it wears like my old Mossberg we'll really have it all!!
