I bought one of these 3 months ago and concur with the 1st post. The action is truly a delight. You can keep it shouldered and work the action with no problem for quick shooting. I played with browning, marlin, mossberg (a real toy, stick to shotguns) and a few others I think, .22 lever guns before deciding on this one.
It shoots and feeds great. A fun plinker. I haven't put a scope on mine, did not seem necessary for plinking and I think cowboy wise, lever guns just look better without a scope.

I bought one of these rifles 6 months ago and I love the silky smooth lever action. I put a scope on it and the ground hogs don't have a chance. The accuracy is excellent. I am now looking to by another one for my sons 16th b-day. Happy Hunting!
