I have this rifle in black with a Nikko-Stirling scope that has a large side focus wheel. My bi-pod is mounted on the front sling stud. The front stock, which does NOT have the metal stock bedding, is VERY flexible.

Because of this flexibility, I moved the sling stud back to the alternate position which reduces the torsion of the front of the stock. The weight of the large scope w/large side wheel causes the front of the stock to twist counter-clockwise which causes the rifle and the scope reticle cross hairs to go out of plumb.

It is necessary to lengthen the left bi-pod leg to put the rifle and reticle back in plumb. I wish they had assembled this rifle with the metal bedded Axiom Stock - it would have been worth the extra cost.

If firing with your hand supporting the front of the rifle, the flexibility of the stock is of no consequence. All that said - once you get the system back in plumb, it shoots under 1" 5-shot groups at 100 yards with quality factory ammo or good hand loads.

The recoil is greatly reduced by the Axiom stock. With a large scope and the bull barrel, this package is quite heavy and not one you would like to carry through the woods all day long. It is VERY muzzle heavy when shooting off hand. My rating would be 5 stars if the stock were not so flexible.
