These Howa "Barreled receivers" is words called repeatable extreme accuracy. Howa sends along instructions on how to break in your barrel (Burnish) correctly. Most rifles don't include this info because they know their rifle isn't able to maintain accuracy like a Howa 1500 aka Weatherby Vanguard.

There is too much to mention about the Talon stock. In general it smothers sharp felt recoil. Just read the instructions about keeping a proper cheek weld. If you put your face down in the "moving parts" of the stock, you'll get bit.

I may be putting the cart before the horse on the performance of the rifle's performance. I am leaving this review on the quality and precision you get in this barreled action and paired recoil reducing vertical handgrip stock.

The 2 stage trigger is an awesome design, you can pull up the slack as you are getting your breath right and the instant it stops the trigger breaks. I am going to sight it in at 200 yds and take some 1000yd pokes with it and I will leave another performance review.
