Magnum Research : Desert Eagle 1911 Pistols

The new 1911 version of the Magnum Research Desert Eagle has the prime and fully equipped custom features any shooter is looking for. Just as the most famous Desert Eagle, the Magnum Research 1911 will blow any competition away at its basic model price.
The MRI Desert Eagle 1911 pistol is a .45 ACP (45 Automatic Colt Pistol) caliber handgun. The single-action models of the Desert Eagle 1911 from Magnum Research are available in two barrel lengths, 5 inches and 4.33 inches, with two 8 round magazines with extended base pads for positive insertion are shipped along. As always, Magnum Research used the highest quality carbon steel for this handgun. This high standard carbon steel is precision cast and machined. The slide of the Desert Eagle 1911 is machined from solid billets of steel than finished in a matte black.
The Desert Eagle 1911 model comes with many high-end features that would be pricy from any custom gunsmith. One of these features is the safety is a high-ride beavertail grip. Also with an extended magazine release, the 1911 Desert Eagle features an aluminum trigger with an over travel stop. The full-length guide rod is constructed fully out of stainless steel, which is not uncommon from Magnum Research. MRI has been known to use even up to 5 different alloys of stainless steel to create the most weather resistant and durable precision cast and machined parts on their firearms. Some other features include an extended thumb safety, an enlarged ejection port, a beveled magazine well and of course of one its best touches to the Desert Eagle 1911 model, a double-diamond checkered wood grips held in place by stainless steel hex screws. One feature of the hammer on this pistol is that it is skeletonized and the flat mainspring housing, made from aluminum, is checkered.
