Product Description

The classic model 1895 is a tried and true configuration of the famous lever action rifles. The action is as smooth as you've experienced. It's made with six machined and heat-treated steel forgings for greater strength. There is a clean, flat, solid top receiver that not only keeps out the rain, snow and debris, but also makes a perfect base for mounting a scope.

This is a great configuration for anyone who wants to shoot a large bore cartridge that will handle all but the big bears. The big plus's that come with this configuration is that if you cast bullets the ballard rifling is the only way you want to go, also the 24" bbl is a plus for the weight forward balance and extra velosity that will be gained. Not to mention the strong laminate stock and weather resistance offered from the stainless features of the gun.
