I bought this pistol for use in USPSA limited minor, and 3 Gun. I've shot about 500 rounds through it between practice and one match and it's great. Very accurate and easy to shoot fast. I shot my first classifier with it and scored about 81% after struggling to break out of the low 70s in production division. With the capacity, accuracy, and great trigger, I'm shocked the 9mm variant isn't more common in 3 Gun where there is no power factor scoring. If you're looking for a Limited or 3 Gun rig, this is astounding value for money. It absolutely compares to "factory custom" 2011s, but for a fraction of the cost.

First off, this pistol is extremely difficult to find in the marketplace. I had emailed approximately 30 different dealers (from the CZ dealer list) and none of them had the gun...disappointment. I've purchased a number of firearms from Hinterland and have always been happy with their pricing and service. Should have checked with them first as they had this pistol in stock and at a very attractive price. It was Sunday night and I email placed my pruchase order with them. Monday morning, they emailed me back, confirmed my order and then shortly thereafter, sent me the shipment tracking number. Needless to say, Hinterland will continue to have all of my business. These folks do a great job of customer service.
On to the gun. I now understand why there is such a large demand and short supply for this pistol. The pistol shoots like a laser. Someone once said that only accurate guns were interesting. By that account, this piece is very interesting. This is a big pistol and the weight dampens the recoil sensation of the 9mm beautifully. I was worried about the fixed sights (most of my guns have adjustable sights to compensate for bullet impact) but I shouldn't have been. The sights are dead on and my initial targets (at a non-challenging 15 yards) have the 10 & X rings shot out. The sights are big, black and so easy to see, even for my old eyes. There was some "talk" on the internet about the light trigger and that it took some time to adjust to it. I haven't tried to make adjustments to the trigger but, except for a little bit of "take up", it was great. As with all my new guns, I disassembled it, cleaned everything, then lubed and reassembled it. I don't know if that mattered but I fed close to 300 rounds of round nose and jacketed hp ammo through it on the first outing and not a single hiccup. The overall appearance of the gun can best be described as eye candy, this pistol walks the talk and if you get to own one, you want to show it off. Rest assured, it will back up your bragging about it. The pistol arrives in a lockable plastic case with three magazines, three slide releases (?), cleaning rods, a magazine loading device and owners manual.
My only complaints were very minor. This is not a inexpensive pistol and for the price, I was disappointed that it had a cheap plastic recoil spring guide rod. I immediately contacted CZ USA and ordered the stainless rod, not cheap but beats the plastic one. Second, when my pistol arrived at my dealer, UPS apparently drop tested the carton and had broken one of the two hinges on the pistol case. As I keep all of the original packaging from all of my firearms, I contacted Hinterland customer service and Mark gave me the customer service contact at CZ USA. They took down my information and promptly sent me a replacement case. Also very nice people that want you to be happy with your CZ equipment.
I normally shoot a Smith & Wesson Performance Center .45 as my go-to target gun (for plinking as I don't shoot competitively) but this CZ just may have taken that spot in my range bag.
