I like the 308 Nikoplex more than the R-800 because it is easier to align on target without getting confused as to which line to use for which yardage.

It may be a personal preference, but I like the ease of just turning the knob to the yardage I am going to shoot.

The BDC function for the M-308 takes the guess out of longer shots.

The Nikoplex is a good scope for the money.
