Gun meets expectations and does exactly what I wanted it to do. It goes bang and every time I pull the trigger I hit the target. At 50 yards it puts all the rounds in about a 4" diameter. The aftermarket mags also worked without incident.

I purchased the carbine in September 2015 with the red dot scope. I installed the scope and the red dot was functional. I could not fire the gun until today, October 17th 2015. When I was setting up on the range I turned the red dot scope to the number 3 position. But there was no red dot. I did fire a round and it was wide right but the ejection worked well and another round was in the breech. I unloaded the gun and insured that the battery was seated properly. No problem there. I left the range and purchased another battery. After installation of the battery the red dot still did not function. I was pleased with the operation of the gun but cannot truly evaluate the gun until I can fire more rounds down range. I am disappointed that the scope failed so quickly. I will write another review after I'm able to replace the scope.

I fired a friend's Hi Point 995TS 9mm at the range recently and really liked it ... in fact I liked it so much that I'm placing an order for the 9954X25TS 9mm now.
