Product Description

The Model 700 Mountain Rifles clean, classic stock design, with straight line comb angled slightly downward towards the muzzle and sculptured cheek piece on the left side is a style still favored by many custom stockmakers. The gracefully tapered 22-inch barrel without sights produces a rifle capable of handling mountain level ranges without draining the hunter's energy to get there. The barreled action is produced from 416A stainless steel and is set in a handsome, elements-resistant, satin finished, brown two tone laminated stock.

As every 700 I have owned, this one is very nice and is a tack driver. It was a little more particular in the ammo it wanted, but on the 3 type of ammo 1/2 inch groups.

I was hesitant to buy a gun online and this was my first one. Hinterland was great and very professional.

I had an email receipt with the guns serial number instantly. It turns out the grain was great on the wood, but they would not send pictures (I am a wood guy). Its my only complaint. Other than that they rock and I would buy from them again!
