This is great rifle if you don't mind doing a lot of work on it. When I received mine, swarf (metal filings) fell out of the action. Levering it thru it's stroke - let's just say it had a number of hitches. The fitting of the stocks was pretty bad also. The forearm stock had been hammered into place as evidenced by the marks on the muzzle end and the indents on the receiver end. I had to have a pivot pin made from stainless steel to replace the poorly machined one that the bolt locking lugs pivots on. That alone reduce lateral play a little over 3/8s of an inch. Mag tube was full of crap. Also I replaced the springs with the Gunslinger Kit cause the stock ones are way over powered. Much filing and sanding of the action resulted in a great running gun. All this was done before I felt the rifle was capable of being safely fired. If you want or can do all the work, possibly send it off to be done, (Steve's Gunz) then you'll have an excellent weapon. If not, I'd look elsewhere.
