Excellent gun for my purpose! I bought this rifle to be a truck gun and also for deer hunting. I wanted the 45 Colt to allow sharling of ammo with my Ruger Redhawk that I also deer hunt with. Out of the box the action is smooth and I was able to get 5 shot 2" groups at 25 yds on a cold day shooting offhand. Will work out to 50 yards to see how well it will do when the weather is better.
