The Ruger M77 Mark ll Magnum was exactly what I expected it to be for a factory made dangerous game rifle.

For a reasonable price, one gets a mauser type action with claw extractor, barrel band, open sights with quater rib leaf sights; all features of custom safari guns at double the price. The walnut was above average and had good grain.

The bolt action operated smoothly and every part of the rifle seems to be well constructed. The .416 Rigby model provides a great platform for a tried and true large caliber cartridge. I would highly recommend purchasing this rifle, especially in the Lott or Rigby variety. Thanks.
