Strength, Simplicity and Ruggedness. Ruger GP100 double-action revolvers are among the most comfortable shooting revolvers. Their rugged, medium-sized frame and cushioned grip system permit repeated firings with minimal shooter fatigue. Easy on the hand and budget, all GP100 revolvers boast solid steel sidewalls (no side-plates), and frame widths that are increased with extra steel in critical areas that support the barrel, making them rugged, reliable, and dependable.

I really like GP100's, and this is no exception. Couple that with the outstanding customer service provided by Hinterland, and you simply can't go wrong. The 6" barrel provides just the right amount of additional sight radius for my aging eyes, without becoming too heavy when shooting with one hand. Typical Ruger quality and reliability.

I love this gun! The weight, balance and construction is rock solid. Very accurate. Actually, I was at the range Sunday morning when the gentleman next to me asked me about my GP100. We got to talking and traded revolvers for a few rounds. He actually liked the GP100 better than his old Colt Python, even though not enough to trade :-) I would recommend the stainless model because it does get dirty being a revolver and is easier to clean.
