Years ago, this was the first handgun I had ever purchased. This thing was very accurate and very reliable. I had a few problems when I first took it out to the farm but that was only because I was using old/dirty ammo.
I could buy the 525 bricks of lead and she fired every time. The small bead related to the firing pin block safety fell out but I sent it in to sig and they paid shipping and repair.
One thing you may want to consider is what kind of ammo you plan on shooting, as copper sometimes presents a problem. Other than that, the picatinny rail worked but wasn't optimal. Overall a great gun for the value.

I bought this gun to teach my 14 yr old son some safe gun-handling techniques as well as to plink away at targets. Our first outing was on a day where the temp didn't get above 15 degrees. I had not cleaned the factory grease out of it at all, I pulled it straight from the box.
It cycled very hard, even by hand. I had read the reviews about avoiding the bulk ammo. I tried to run some Federal hollow point bulk (it was all I had with me) through it, and true to the reviews, it would not cycle well at all.
FTE's and FTL's consistently. We still ran about 200 through it that day, but it was clunky. Cleaned it up, oiled it up, put in the light spring, and handcycled it about 1000 times while sitting on my sofa watching TV. Next time I took it to an indoor range with 4 different types of ammo.
CCI Mini-mag, Remington Thunderbolt, Remington Goldenbullet, and the same Federals. We shot indoors well over 800 rounds of the CCI's and both Remingtons. Not one problem. Not one. This gun worked like a champion.
I tried a few more of the Feds thinking that maybe my earlier problems were due to do the temperature and the fact that I had not cleaned it. I noticed some improvement, but not enough for me to want to mess around the that type of ammo again.
When you consider the Thunderbolts aren't that much more expensive than the Feds, that isn't a problem for me at all. My experience is such that if you give the gun some breaking in and shoot better ammo and avoid HP, you will love it.
I have also seen some recommendations (youtube, other websites) regarding the feed ramp and polishing it up as well as polishing the chamber. I have not done that yet, but probably will. 1000 rounds in and I have no regrets.
