Love this rifle. I had an opportunity to pick this rifle out from a different company but decided to wait thinking I can pick this up after I return from Afghanistan. I'm glad I picked this up from Hinterland. Great rifle. The CP1 Scope ($239) value isn't built well and the mil-dot wasn't level. Other than that it works okay. The SIG716 is heavy at 9.3 lbs and with lights and Mako vertical grip/bipod/light weigh about 11.2 lbs. It shoot well and never had any issues. You'll have to clean it first as they put tremendous amount of oil in the receiver and inside the buffer spring area. I read about the SIG716 and watched lots of videos on this rifle. I even watched the Sig Sauer video of SIG516 and saw how it withstand dirt, sand, mud, water and multiple magazines and still was able to shoot. I figure if SIG516 can do this and SIG716 is basically a big brother to SIG516, than SIG716 can take the punishment as well. Sig Sauer develop quality weapons and I have no doubt it'll do well for me and my family. I also own SIG516 and you won't be disappointed if you get the SIG716 for targeting or hunting. Enjoy your 2nd Amendment.
