First off i would like to say that purchasing a rifle through Hinterland was a much easier process than imagined it would be, they were very helpful and walked me through the process of purchasing a rifle online, as this was my first time.
Now on to the rifle, on my rifle i am using a SWFA SS 10x42 scope with a Ken Farrell base and Burris xtr rings. I am more than happy with this rifle!!
I have done a good deal of shooting with this rifle at long ranges since i bought it this summer; i have shot it at 1000 yds, in which my vertical deviation out of 7 shots was 3 inches using Fiocchi 175 grain exacta match ammunition.
I have also shot at 1240 yds with this ammo, but i did not take an accurate measurement of the spread. Once i got on target i hit with 5 consecutive shots.
I would like to point out that when using Federal GMM 168 grain ammo, on several occasions if i chambered the round, then tried to remove the round from the chamber without firing it the bullet would pull out of the casing and get stuck in the chamber, not that this was hard to remove, but still a nuisance. I have not had this issue with Federal GMM 175 grain ammo by the way, just the 168 grain ammo.
All in all, i am extremely pleased with this rifle, if you are looking for a relatively cheap yet precision rifle, I would highly recommend this rifle, every time I shoot it I am reassured that this was a good investment.
