I have just purchased a new Savage 10 BA LE .308 I am a former S.W.A.T. Officer in a major city. I must say by far this is an incredible weapon system.

For optics I attached a Bushnell 6-18x50 Trophy XLT with a Bi-pod. I have used some custom handloads but was very surprised by out of the box Zombie 168 grain ammunition.

I found after zeroing in at 100 yards this weapon will place 1/8 moa all day long. It will also place a 1/8 moa at 300 yards as well with the Zombie rounds. They are pushing 2700 ftps as well as 2719 ftpd of muzzle energy.

I will say without doubt this is the best long range rig I have owned. Next on the list will be the .338 110 BA. If you want a weapon that delivers, here she is.
