Let me start by saying Hinterland Outfitters had the BEST price and LOWEST shipping. This ammo shoots flawlessly out of my 8mm. It's extremely accurate with a lot of punch and without the muzzle rise. It was on its way in four days along with other ammo I ordered with it. This is a great website that carries all the "hard to find" stuff for cheap. This is will be my number one choice for ammo when I can't find it near home and/or when they are cheaper than places near me(which just so happens to be a lot).

I bought 6 Mausers (8mm) in 2002. I also ordered some cheap old Turkish Ammo - most of which fired very well with few duds. Once I established the rifles were all shootable and ran loq on the cheap stuff, I bought 1000 rounds of S&B equivalent to the current FMJ 196 grain ammo.
I thought my rifle had exploded after the first shot. I was dazed. When I realized it was nothing more than sheer recoil I loaded another round. O M I G O D! Even these heavy beasts with bayonets on the end recoil like a Win 300 sniper rifle - noticeably more than than my o3 a3 firing FMJ not-too-old military ammo.
The consistency is there as my 100 yard patterns shrank to less than half of that with the Turkish crap. Unfortunately, the sheer power takes a toll after 50 rounds.
If you want to kill a beast or scare the beJesus out of your buddies, pass them your Mauser and say "take a few shots". This ammo in JHP would be just fine for larger game deer/elk. What a story that would be - a 400 pound elk with iron sights and one shot at 200+ yards - with a 60 year old military gun.
