I have a 629 4inch. love this gun. it does take a fair amount of shooting to get good with it, since i use full house handloads using a 200 grain bullet. But what fun!
I use it as a major backup when I'm hunting coyotes and mountain lions.
I carried a 586 357 mag 4 inch in the 80s when i was a cop. I absolutely love Smith & Wesson revolvers.
I have them smoothed out by a smith, and I've never been unhappy with these revolvers. They just always work!
