After I finally got a chance to go to the range, I was pleased with the performance of the weapon. I previously had an S&W model 629 revolver for a few years and it was a high quality product. This model 15 was no different.
It has less recoil than I had expected, which is good. The stock wood grips felt good in my hand. Unlike my Ruger 357mag, I found that I can fire this revolver double-action and accurately hit targets, as opposed to being all over the map.
I am glad that S&W brought the model 15 back into production. I would recommend this weapon to anyone who is looking for a .38 special. Thanks.
