Dont know where to start but here were my starting point rationales:
-first time buyer of a firearm of any kind
-personal self defense only
-possible use by a woman
-size, recoil, stopping power
-quality, quality, quality
After a lot of reading and Internet search I have narrowed my search to 0.32 and then .327 Federal Magnum, the initial pick was Ruger SP101 in that caliber but could not settle for the presence of cocking spur in a single/double action revolver.
That is when the S&W 632 showed up on search engines. The rest is very simple; I got exactly what I have envision for the purpose.
First experience on the range reinforced positive opinions. The firearm is compact, fits exceedingly well in small to medium size hands, recoil is easy to handle even by age weakened hands of a woman and quality appears to be awsome.
Tritium night dots on sights give that nice high-tech touch and added value. I am well aware of high cost of ammunition for this revolver.
This is double action ONLY firearm.
