I ordered the rifle last November and it arrived very quickly. Packaging was great. The rifle was beautiful! I had contemplated only buying the walnut stock to set aside and perhaps sell later because I was unhappy with the reports I had recently heard concerning the factory supplied plastic stocks flexing too much. I was going to seat it in an old USGI fiberglass stock like the ones I used in the US Army - I was in the Old Guard. Why buy a national match barreled rifle for accuracy then put it in a flexing stock? Since I have handled this rifle I have come to change my plans and keep the walnut stock on - its just too damn pretty. One note, Springfield does not ship with a baronet lug at all I have concluded. Best magazines are in my opinion the 20 rounder Checkmates (the government contractor for decades). You can get them for $25 each including shipping at 44mangnum dot com.
