If you have had a hard primer and the gun misfires, the 800 Series senses this and Automatically gives you instant "Strike Two" capability by resetting the trigger for automatic double action restrike. I didn't find Hinterland Outfitters till after my purchase of this model, however I will say that I have been greatly pleased with it so far. I am a new shooter just getting into things and have only shot a few different handguns.
This was by far the most comfortable in my hands. 500 rnds later it's broken in and performs flawlessly. Fit and finish up there with the others twice the price. Comfortable, Quality, Lifetime Warranty!!

Love it, I hurt my right hand and this gun allows me to shoot left or right. Do it all left handed same as right.
