Just like the full size version, the compact P99 is available with the same trigger variation as the QA. The frame backstraps are interchangeable so that the pistol will fit in a wide variety of hand sizes. The pistol will not snag in clothing when it is drawn, thanks to rounded edges. Great handgun. Fantastic trigger and ergonomics. If you are looking for an alternative to the Glock 26/27.

This pistol is about equal in size to a Glock 26 with the flat bottom magazines. It is super reliable, I have nearly 1000 rounds through mine and have yet to have the slightest hiccup.
The AS trigger on these pistols is unbelieveable. It is just so smooth that it makes other polymer pistols feel like a toy. Pair it with Smith and Wesson's customer service since they distribute Walther in the USA and you have nearly a perfect pistol.
The only complaint I have is how expensive spare magazines are!
