After recently purchasing a Dan Wesson Valor 45 cal. Pistol from you, at Hinterland Outfitters.com, I want you to know that yesterday I just completed firing 550 Rounds of 230 Grain ammunition. The pistol fires perfectly. Some days I fire 56 rounds and other days I fire 32 rounds. The other day I did notice that I started shooting to the left a couple of inches and felt something loose against my right thumb.
Yes, The 1/5 Hex Screw in the Rear Sight had come loose.
I had a local gun expert slightly adjust the sight two times, checking the shooting for accuracy. It is now shooting dead center after which I put some UM GUN-TITE Adhesive on the 1/5 metric set screw in the rear site.
I also have a Dan Wesson Heritage which I have just completed firing my 1457th. Rounds, all 230 grain. Both guns are outstanding. I do like the Heritage design which I think is better looking than the Valor. Both fire equally as well. Beautiful guns.
I have fired several other 45 cal. 1911 Pistols over the last 65 years from the time I served in the US. Army having served in Germany.
My favorite is the Dan Wesson Heritage and Valor,as compared to all the other 45 cal. guns on the market.
Thank You Very much.
