I have used Acraglas about a dozen times on different stocks. Works really well on wood. Some folks complain about it being too thin but I like it that way as it ensures an even layer and it flows into the corners. Like I said it works well with wood but if you are working a polymer stock you need to test it first as it does not stick to some plastics (Hogue Overmold as an example ) I also use it in knife making for the scales and handles ( yes, it sticks well to micarta and G-10 after roughing up) It has a great shelf life so I always have some around. A tip I have learned, when you think you have it mixed up, triple the mixing time. Don't stir, fold it over to keep air bubbles down. Let it sit for a little while before applying it. Here in FL I use the sun to warm it up and let the air bubbles come up. You can't go wrong keeping some Acraglas around.
