Browning rifles for sale

About Browning Rifles

Browning Firearms has consistently hit the target when it comes to high-quality, reliable rifles, and has blasted away the competition for more than 125 years. This American firearm manufacturer traces its roots back to the late 19th century when John Moses Browning established his firearms factory in Utah to market his prolific and state-of-the-art sporting inventions. Browning earned many patents over his lifetime for his gunsmithing works, which led to the market referring to him as the "father of modern firearms."

Not only did Browning’s gun design innovations give us faster and more reliable guns, but after his death in 1926, there have been moderately slight important deviations in today’s modern firearms industry.
Browning Firearms sells to a variety of markets. Even though it has built its business on making rifles, shotguns and pistols, Browning also produces non-firearms outdoors products and accessories, along with archery and fishing equipment, knives, flashlights, outdoor apparel, footwear, and security safes.

Without a doubt, Browning Firearms has established itself as legendary in the rifle market. Any gun enthusiast will be a proud owner of their new Browning rifle acquisition and will undoubtedly treasure the stunning craftsmanship as one of their gun collection masterpieces.

Hinterland Outfitters carries the entire line of Browning rifles for sale, which includes:

  • Browning X-Bolt Rifles
  • Browning AB3 Rifles
  • Browning BAR Rifles
  • Browning BLR Rifles
  • Browning BL-22 Rifles
  • Browning SA-22 Rifles
  • Browning T-Bolt Rifles
  • Browning Buck Mark Rifles
  • Browning A-Bolt Rifles

Features of Browning Rifles include:

  • Free floated barrels, which help to maintain barrel-to-stock spacing for consistent accuracy.
  • Three-lever feather trigger adjustable from 3 to 5 lbs. that provides a clean, crisp pull with no take-up or creep and minimal overtravel.
  • Dura-touch Armor Coating provides a superior grip and feel in hot and cool temperatures, no matter if it’s wet or dry.
  • The X-Lock scope mounting system features four screws per base to ensure securely mounted optics.
  • Recoil pad uses directional deflection so that the comb is pulled down and away from your face when the gun is fired, allowing for faster follow-up shots.
  • Bolt action rifles have a short 60-degree bolt lift for fast cycling. The bolt is machined from a solid steel bar stock for strength and precision using three locking lugs.

Browning X-Bolt Rifles

The Browning X-Bolt rifle is one of the oldest and most popular rifles in the entire Browning line of rifles for sale. Winning the National Rifle Association’s (NRA) prestigious Golden Bullseye Award for rifle of the year in 2009 confirmed that the Browning X-Bolt rifle is destined for greatness. Designed for complete accuracy, the Browning X-Bolt has an integrated system of features that push the limits of factory bolt action rifle performance, reliability and shooting comfort.

The bolt action rifle market was altered historically with the advent of the Browning X-Bolt Rifle. While paying homage to past Browning rifles’ success, the X-Bolt includes more compressed dimensions for a smaller, quicker, sleeker look and feel, and a reduction in weight, as well as Browning’s proprietary barrel manufacturing systems to gain greater accuracy.
X-Bolt key features include:

  • Barrel Accuracy: Every X-Bolt action is individually bedded into the stock for a true free-floated barrel, not bedded using a master receiver like many manufacturers do. The barrel is free-floated and maintains stock-to-barrel spacing with the bedding of the rear and front action. X-Bolt barrels are triple checked for interior finish and straightness, and are air-gauged for uniformity. The chamber is also hand-reamed for precise accuracy.
  • Bolt Unlock Button: The X-Bolt bolt unlock button works in conjunction with the top-tang safety to provide an extra margin of safety when checking and unloading the chamber. Located on top of the bolt handle, the bolt unlock button allows the bolt to be unlocked and opened with the tang safety in the “on safe” position.
  • Feather Trigger: The X-Bolt features a three-lever trigger with minimal overtravel and trigger creep, providing a crisp trigger pull. The Feather Trigger is adjustable between 3 to 5 lbs. and sits in an alloy trigger housing with hard chromed components.
  • 60 Degree Bolt Lift: The X-Bolt features a 60 degree bolt lever that helps clear a rifle scope when cycling the firearm.  All bolts are machined from solid steel with three locking lugs.
  • X-Lock Mounting System: The X-Lock scope mounts use four screws to securely mount optics to the receiver and hold to zero after extended periods of time being used in the field.
  • Inflex Technology: The inflex recoil pad on the X-Bolt helps to absorb and reflect the energy down and away from the shooter’s check, making for a softer shooting rifle.

The Browning X-Bolt rifle comes for sale in multiple models and calibers with over 20 different variants being offered.

Very few companies can boast of a single firearm that helped shape history. The famous Browning BAR’s story began in 1917 as a tool designed for American troops during the First World War. The BAR rifle would go on to see combat in every major U.S. conflict extending to the early phases of Vietnam.
