Straight grip stock for handling speed, all steel receiver, walnut stock, Invector-Plus choke system.
Heavy duty meets light handling. The world's toughest pump shotgun is also the platform for a quick, fast handling upland gun. The addition of an English-style straight grip stock not only reduces weight, it also positions your hands for faster pointing at fast moving birds.
The birds. From pheasants to crazy quail you can get on target faster. The ventilated rib gives you a good level of target visibility. The traditional silver-colored front bead won't interfere with the kind of shooting this shotgun is designed for.
The best pump there is. For most companies, the pump shotgun is an entry-level item built for the beginner. We don’t see it that way, knowing there are shooters who demand the highest quality and reliability from their pump shotgun. The BPS uses a rugged, machined steel receiver, steel internal components and twin steel action bars for long-lasting, bind-free, pump-action performance.

From a practical point of view, this gun doesn't seem to be a great value. However, as a functional 20 gauge, it handles much more fluidly than other 20 gauge pump shotguns in the $400 to $00 range. A welcome feature for my anyway is the bottom ejection feature, which I believe is there for all the Browning shotguns...at least the most recent line of BPS guns.
Another thing I liked about this gun is the location of the safety. It's solid and set just about right above the trigger. Much better function than on pumps and semi-automatics with the safety built into the trigger housing. A bit of a splurge, but a great shooting, mid price 20-gauge.
