I do not own this gun, but I am trying to find one to buy. I do own the Bersa Thunder 380 taking a 7-round magazine ; and the 380 Plus is supposed to be the same except for a 15-round magazine. If it is the same gun, then this has got to be the best buy for any pistol. It is reliable, accurate, well-made, and safe, especially if there are children around.

This is one of my favorite guns. It's light but holds 16 rounds (15 + 1), it has little recoil when compared to 9mm and above calibers, it is accurate due to its blow-back design, and the grips actually provide grip. The finish isn't up to par with popular handgun makes, though. Mine had lots of scratches and marks on the finish. There's lots of tooling marks, too, but I didn't buy the gun because I wanted it to be pristine. It's a tool, so I'm OK with the scratches and marks. About the only thing I don't like is the fact that it only comes with one magazine. They can do without the magazine disconnect, as well. That safety key as well. The decocker is stiff but should wear in (oil helps). The DA pull is smooth enough to where my very first shot (in DA) was in the red at 7 yards.
This gun is my first Bersa and I've the feeling I'll be buying one or two of their single stacks as well.
Hinterland Outfitters had the gun to me within 3 days (I was actually surprised).
