I have been using my 487-557 for over 2 years. No discomfort when fireing and the amplified sound allows range commands to be easily heard and understood. IMHO an excellent purchase for the price.

I borrowed a pair of these and they worked well. I may purchase the full size model rather than this slim version, however.
