I only recently wrote my personal review of the performance of this Federal-brand, .32 Winchester Special caliber ammunition in my Marlin carbine for Hinterland Outfitters, and then ordered (3) boxes from them. It was my FIRST order that I had placed with Hinterland Outfitters.
THEIR price for this ammunition is the LOWEST that I've found compared to local gun-shops, as well as from all of the largest national internet-using ammunition and shooting-gear suppliers, and I found Hinterland's ground-shipping costs were also the LOWEST, which was a further savings to me!
On top of that, I placed my order on the morning of one day (I received word from Hinterland that it was shipped to me 4 hours later!) and then received it only 3 days later!
Because of that Hinterland has now made me a 'regular' customer' of theirs!

This is GREAT .32 Winchester Special ammunition! I shoot a vintage (circa 1951) Marlin 336 RC carbine w/ 20" barrel, and the velocities from a box of this ammo', purchased last year, averaged 2209 fps for 5 shots. That's a very decent correlation and consistency with factory specifications, since their (Federal's) specified velocity of '2250 fps' are reading taken from 24" test barrels, and the slight difference between mine and Federal's can easily be accepted since my barrel is 4" shorter.
In MY carbine, too, and equipped with a Williams 'Foolproof' receiver-mounted aperture sight, I find that the Federal ammunition groups better (by at least 1 1/12 to 2 inches) than the Remington and Winchester loads and rivals the Hornady 'Superperformance' 165 gr. loads for being MY carbine's MOST accurate ammo'. Groups of 3 - 5 shots, of 2" or less, are the norm' for my carbine at 100 yards, if it's allowed to 'cool' between the 2nd and 3rd shots, as well as subsequent shots.
A friend of mine's vintage 24"-barreled Winchester model 64 'Deer Rifle' in this caliber, also shoots the Federal ammo' very well, but get's it's best groups with both Remington and Winchester loads, proving that each rifle is a "law unto itself"!
