Good shooting slug at 25 yards and dead on the money at 100 yards for the prices. It's a dang good buy!

I bought n 20 ga 1187 slug gun last year and shot Hornady SSTs out of it. I was not satisfied with the groups that I was able to shoot with the SSTs, so I purchased several different brands of slugs to try out before deer season this year. I decided to also include the Federal Power-Shok slugs because they cost so much less than the other slugs I was purchasing. After spending a day at the range, I found that these slugs grouped much better than the other slugs and cost half as much. I was able to shoot a 3-shot group at 100 yds that measured 1.5". On the opening day of deer season this year, I shot a doe at 65 yds and she dropped on the spot. I am impressed with the accuracy and terminal effects on these slugs and have recommended them to everybody I know that shoots a 20 ga slug gun.
