I picked up my pistol today and it was flawless. I want to thank Hinterland Outfitters for their excellent customer service.

I originally ordered a Glock 21 (.45 ACP). I received an e-mail stating that it was about to ship then a few minutes later received an e-mail that said the order had been canceled due to an issue with the pistol.

I called Hinterland customer service and they said that just prior to boxing up the pistol for shipping, during their pre-ship inspection, there was rust found in the chamber and barrel. They said that the pistol would not reliably feed and that they were sending it back to the manufacturer. I was disappointed to say the least.

However, my customer service rep informed me that they had received 2 Glock 20s (10 MM) that morning and wanted to know if I would like to have one of those instead. I jumped on that offer and I must say that I do not regret it.

I still plan to buy the G21 when it is back in stock but so far, I am happy with my G21 and extremely happy with Hinterland Outfitter's customer service. There is a good possibility that I might have missed the rust in the original pistol and I am very happy that they took the time to perform a thorough inspection of the firearm prior to shipping.

Thanks Hinterland, I will definitely be ordering from you in the future.
