I wanted to love this pistol, but I do not. Unlike my PM45 which has been 100% reliable, this TP45 had 7 fail to fire during 300 rounds of Winchester 230 grain ball, all from too weak primer strikes. I also had a magazine unseat 3 times during the same 300 rounds
The gun appears well made, with excellent fit and finish, and is also very accurate. However, 10 malfunctions in 300 rounds is below my personal reliability threshold, and I cannot trust it for a defensive pistol
It is fun to shoot, and would make a fine handgun for plinking, but there are better choices for a full size combat pistol.
