I BOUGHT ONE OF THESE KERSHAW BLUR 1670TBLKST KNIVES THIS JANUARY AND LET ME TELL YOU A LITTLE STORY. I WAS GETTING GAS AT NIGHT IN THE WEST VIRGINIA MOUNTAINS IN JULY WHEN TWO GOOD OLD BOYS DECIDED THEY WOULD GET ALL THE MONEY THAT I HAD AND WAS REALLY IMPOLITE ABOUT IT.

ONE OF THEM HAD A BUCK KNIFE AND TOLD ME HE WAS GOING TO CUT ME EVEN THOUGH I TOLD THEM I WOULD GIVE THEM A HUNDRED OF MY CASH. THEY BOTH HAD BEEN DRINKING SOMETHING THAT SMELLED LIKE RUBBING ALCOHOL AND WANTED OUR CAR AND MY WIFE TO GO WITH THEM.

I KNEW THEY WERE NOT GOING TO GO WITHOUT HURTING ME AND MY WIFE SO I MADE A MOVE AND GOT MY BLADE OFF MY BELT AND IN JUST A SPLIT SECOND IT WAS OPEN AND SWINGING AT THE SAME TIME.

ONE OF THE MEN FELL BACKWARDS WITH A CUT TO HIS CHEST AND THE ONE WITH THE BUCK DIDN'T HAVE TIME TO OPEN IT BEFORE HE JUST ABOUT LOST MOST OF HIS POINTER FINGER.

AFTER THAT BRIEF MOMENT THEY WERE COMPLETELY UNWILLING TO PROCEED WITH THEIR ROBBERY AND WAS RUNNING FOR THE HILLS. I AM NOT A BRAVE MAN AND HATE VIOLENCE BUT WHEN ONE OF THEM STARTED TOWARD MY WIFE I HAD TO MOVE FAST.

THIS IS THE ONLY KNIFE I CARRY AND I THINK IT MIGHT HAVE SAVED MY WIFE FROM A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION AND MAYBE ME TOO. I THANK GOD FOR GIVING ME THE INSIGHT TO PERCHANCE IT FROM KERSHAW.

THE ONLY OTHER CHOICE I HAD WAS TO SHOT BOTH OF THEM WITH MY BACK POCKET .308 ! SO GOD WAS LOOKING AFTER BOTH THEM AND US THAT NIGHT.
