The XT-22 Series is Marlin's latest bolt action rimfire rifles. Perfect for target practice and small game, these bolt-action 22s are reliable, accurate and fun to shoot. Featuring a 7-shot magazine, blued barrel, thumb safety, Pro-Fire Adjustable trigger, adjustable rear sight, ramp front sight, and they are drilled and tapped for scope. The stock is Monte Carlo walnut-finished hardwood with swivel studs, and full pistol grip.

I HAVE 5 MARLIN RIMFIRE RIFLES AND I MUST SAY THAT THE XT MODEL IS VERY IMPRESSING.THE ADJUSTABLE TRIGGER IS SWEET,IT IS A MUST HAVE,THE ACTION IS VERY SMOOTH, AND MAN THIS RIFLE IS A SHOOTER.

CCI MINI MAGS 36 GR. AT 50 YDS COVER 10 SHOT GROUP WITH A NICKLE.I DID TAKE THE HARD WOOD STOCK OFF,USED A 1/2 SOCKET WITH SAND PAPPER WRAPED AROUND IT TO TAKE THE BARREL CHANNEL DOWN SOME TO FREE FLOAT THE BARREL FROM THE TAKE DOWN SCREW OUT.

OTHER THAN THAT IT IS A VERY FINE RIFLE.WHATS TO SAY ITS A MARLIN,FOR A FACTORY RIFLE ITS GOING TO BE HARD TO BEAT THIS ONE. MARLIN HAS GOT THIS ONE RIGHT.
